We made a little experiment — a short audio exploration on the making the song “Lifetime Achievement.” We’re calling it Articulations, because we have a pun problem. Listen here:
Is this interesting to anyone? This is not a rhetorical question.
We hope for this to be a platform for candor but are sensitive to the very real potential for petty self-aggrandizement — it’s a narrow needle to thread and everything is embarrassing. Feedback is humbly appreciated.

Speaking of narcissism: friends Charlie Looker and Sophie Leetmaa recently took a long hard look at the Parenthetical Girls record Safe As Houses for the Last Things Podcast, and the conversation is now streaming via Charlie’s based YouTube bunker. Listen to it and let me know, because I can’t.
More sad songs coming soon, promise.
Oooo, east side, luxurious.
Mine had an indoor pool, which was a big birthday lifeline.
Nerd stuff: the 410 has true analogue filter and envelope controls, which I think is unique among the old casio models? It also has an amazing stereo chorus setting that sounds sort of like a rotary speaker. Everything single preset sounds good to me.
Definitely was interesting and am interested in more. Also just starved of content coming from your direction. Thanks for both the music and the behind-the-scenes breakdown.
